In our Shogun stores, you'll find a wide range of colonial-style furniture, like nowhere else in France. Our colonial furniture is for the most part unique, which is why our offer remains confidential on the Internet. However, we're keen to expand our range, and have put a few products like armchairs online.
A colonial-style armchair is easily recognized by the color of the wood from which it is made. Generally made from dark exotic woods of the rosewood family, its design is simple, with a straight back and elegantly curved arms. The legs are also straight and sturdy, and a few carved details can adorn the sides of the seats. With leather or fabric upholstery, the seat is open and wide to allow good ventilation of the body, essential in tropical countries where the climate is very humid.
